All right, folks, here you go: My 11reasons why you ought to start coming to understand how to play the piano. Immediately. As in today. That especially minute.

Okay, fine, finish that article first, THEN get started. And yes, I understand that there are over simply 13 reasons to play the piano. Yet I take place to love the number 12. :)

Eachone ought to play at least one instrument. I truly believe that. Each individual on Earth ought to be allowed to sit at SOME instrument and be capable of making beautiful music.

Playing the piano makes you feel (and look) complex. Truly. No matter who you are or how many warts you've, you will only exude class the second you begin tickling those ivories.

Piano playing keeps your mind active. It is highly tough for your mind to rot when you consistently throw it the musical language to interpret.

You will not run out of things to do when you are bored. There is invariably a new way to play, invariably a new strategy to playing, and invariably, invariably, ALWAYS a new song to understand. (See number 8.)

Family members could live vicariously through you. I am semi-serious about that. The reason I began taking piano lessons (back as I was 10) was because of grandparents who did not play, and over the years I have had numerous relatives enjoy playing through me. (I live to serve.)

Individuals shall automatically presume you are a genius. Honestly, I have heard that a lot. Individuals uttering "He/she plays the piano" in the same tone reserved for "He/she's an IQ of 174." You simply can not assist yet admire somebody playing an instrument.

Piano playing is great for your hands. Indeed it's. I probably have stronger hands/fingers than most individuals I know. And have you ever noticed the hands of a pianist? Beautiful, lengthy, tapered fingers. Chances are that should you've ever admired somebody's hands, they play the piano.

Piano playing is SATISFYING. It is truly one of the most satisfying things you could do. (Right after touching your nose with your tongue. Or so I hear.) There is no feeling like playing a tough, hard song and playing it flawlessly. Quite an ego-boost.
