My name is Brian Ellis and I work in the insurance industry with qualifications currently.

The Qualification Need

My job seemed rightly safe with my firm. I used to be a great employee, no issues and attaind my objectives with out any issues. My bosses were clearly happy adequate for me to persist working there.

But, due to new requirements being brought in by the regulatory authorities that govern economic type companies, I required a qualification. It wasn't concrete, yet it seemed rightly certain that to persist to work there I'd eventually need the 'Insurance Foundation Certificate'. Oh dear I need my job and I wasn't any great at studying I failed miserably at school.

The Course

The certificate study course consisted of 2 large volumes, levels I and II and a two hour exam for every level. Every volume was studied in a classroom after a week for six months with homework.

Tough, hardies Faced

Level I wasn't also tough, hard apart from being a highly uninteresting subject to study. Believe about it, the background of insurance and how it works etc. Level II, though, was going to be the issue. I understood that there used to be a 71 percent failure rate for that exam.
